Zingerman’s sweet cream biscuits

Zingerman’s just nails baked stuff. Absolutely nails it. Count yourself as lucky if you’re near a shop that gets Zingerman’s fresh-made products.

Too many fakeries (fake bakeries) stuff their sweet goods with artificial colors and flavors. They save a few cents, but sacrifice natural eating in the process.

I picked up this sweet cream biscuit for USD$2.00 from the East Lansing Food Co-op.

It’s light and fluffy, but put together. It’s sweet, but not too sweet.

All-in-all, an exceptional biscuit!

When Summer comes to Michigan there is almost nothing better than eating local fresh berries of all varieties. To make the experience perfect we’ve created a sweet cream biscuit-tender, moist and flavorful from all the butter and cream in the recipe. To make their great tender texture we mix them by hand. Just serve them with fruit and whipped cream.

  • Butter.
  • Sugar.
  • Heavy cream.
  • Milk.
  • Baking powder.
  • Salt.
